1. What is AmeriPlan Dental® Care?
Ameriplan Dental® Care is a Provider Access Organization that offers memberships in its discount dental plan. Members can save 25% to 65% on all restorative and cosmetic work (fillings, crowns, braces, etc.) and up to 80% on preventative work (teeth cleaning, X-Rays, etc.) performed by a general dentist. Specialist fees are discounted 25%. Since the dental plan is not insurance or health care organization, all ongoing dental/medical problems are covered except orthodontic treatment in progress. There are no deductibles, no claim forms to fill out and no limits on visits to your dentist.

2. How long do I have to wait to use this program?
You don't have to wait at all. You can use this program as much as you like. All preexisting conditions are accepted with no waiting periods (with exception of orthodontics already in progress.)

3. How do I pay my Membership Fee?
Monthly or quarterly payments are made ONLY by electronic bank draft, debit card, or by credit card. INVOICING IS DONE ONLY FOR ANNUAL MEMBERSHIPS PAID ONE YEAR IN ADVANCE. Individual membership is $11.95 per month and family membership is $19.95 per month. Family membership covers all residents in the household, including children, parents, relatives, and significant others.

4. How much is the deductible?
There is no deductible to reach before you receive the savings.

5. What are the Additional benefits that I get with this plan?
With the purchase of an Ameriplan Dental Membership, you also receive discounts on Prescription drugs, vision services and products, and chiropractic services. Click Here for more information about these additional benefits.

6. How much more do pharmacy, vision and chiropractic plans cost?
The prescription drug, vision, and chiropractic plans are absolutely FREE with the dental plan membership.

7. Who are the Dental, Pharmacy, Vision and Chiropractic Care Providers?
Ameriplan Dental® Care has assembled one of the largest networks of dental providers in the nation, and we are continually adding to this base. These dentists are well established, with successful dental practices. Our prescription card may be used at our participating pharmacies nationwide, as well as through mail order. The vision care benefits are available nationwide at more than 12,000 providers, and our chiropractic benefits may be used with more than 7,000 credentialed chiropractors. You may search for dental providers in you area by entering your zip code into the field labeled Step 1 on the main page.

8. How do I use the Plan?
Within 10 to 14 working days of receipt of your application, you will receive a Member Information Guide, Membership Identification Cards and a Dental, Pharmacy, Vision and Chiropractic Care Directory. Present your Identification Card to any Ameriplan® provider and you will be eligible to get the discounted fees. You pay the provider at the time of service.

9. Will my family be covered?
When you enroll in the plan you have the option of choosing an individual plan for $11.95 per month or a family plan for $19.95 per month. Your family will only be covered by your plan if you have chosen the family plan.

10. Will I receive a card to show my providers?
Yes. They are a standard sized card -about the size of a credit card- with the member's name on it.

11. How long do I have to keep this program for? Is it a yearlong contract or month to month?
It is a one year commitment and after the one year it is month to month.

12. Is there a guarantee with this plan?
YES! You have an unconditional 30-day money back guarantee. If you are unsatisfied for any reason within the first 30 days you will receive 100% of your money back.

13. How long has Ameriplan been in business?
Ameriplan is just entering their 15th year of business and they are based out of Plano, Texas.

15. Are you licensed agents?
YES! Even though Ameriplan is not an insurance policy and does not require their brokers to maintain a Health Insurance and Life Insurance License, we are licensed health insurance agents. The benefits with this plan are so good that we prefer to offer it in many cases over the dental insurance policies we have available.
